Persona 5, which I reviewed in March, is one glorious example that proves the rule, but nothing stood out so much as Zelda: Breath of the Wild. There was a real tangible lack of these games for a long time, most of the last generation has gone by with only a small scattering. They are not relying on the graphical power of the time, and so do not suffer from that same painful look back that games that try to look ‘realistic’ always seem to. Because they effectively don’t seem to age. The Jet Set Radio series, Viewtiful Joe, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and Zelda homage Okami, all have that wonderful timeless quality that cel-shading gives. You know, the flat yet vibrant colours, comic-book style images, and often thick outlines? You can go back to a cel-shaded game, and it will feel like no time has passed at all. There are hundreds of games on the PS3/Xbox 360 cycle that look very grey and bland and sharp now, and its actually more difficult going back to them than it is just playing pixel-art games from ten to fifteen years earlier.īut you know one graphical genre that doesn’t age like that? Cel-shading. After a few years, this means that looking back on previous gen games can be painful. There are memes about it everywhere and it’s only been a couple of days, but that’s the internet for you.Įach time we move to a new console generation, the graphical fidelity leap is a tangible thing. Possibly they don’t even look as good as last gen. Ie, dragons who have a three-digit ID << as such.We all watched the recent Halo: Infinite gameplay demo and we all had the same basic reaction – those graphics don’t look current gen. An Imperial would be too expensive, same with an Unbred |'D BUT. As in, a dragon whose ID# is in the hundreds. Three-Digit ID# Dragon (Preferably NOT an Imperial or Unbred)

I've also linked more above where it says "over here." XD Puppet Animation Examples can be seen as the first and last examples (up top and below). Visit My Vimeo! for cleaner animations! I also have some scattered about my old account's stash, so I can pull those out if need be.Īaah, I'm working on a clean animation that'll be about 10 seconds long, so I'll have an even better example of that soon :'D Sorry. You can also see a good break-down of what I'd be willing to offer over here. These prices are also only applied towards non-animated pieces. I don't have an official sheet for that, though. Prices for Feral designs are always more expensive ($60+, fully rendered). This is my Commission Sheet, with prices.

You can see more details on commissions and even more examples of my art here. If I were to draw you 60 drawings, it would be the equivalent of $3,000. 5 seconds is 60 frames, or 60 unique drawings (that's why I said 'unique,' as holds and stuff might elongate it and make it have less unique frames).

WINDBOUND PLUMAGE HOW TO

My Full-body, fully-rendered artwork goes for $50 a piece (I use USD as the basis to figure out how to price artwork in the value of, well, anything, I guess). Why 5 seconds? Because 1 second is 12 drawings (I animate on a 12 frames per second basis). Frame-By-Frame Animation (up to 5 seconds' worth of unique, fully-rendered animation) If you're not interested in my art but are interested in another FR user's art, gems are very good for that ahaha I have 250,000 gems on FR that I'm also willing to offer as pure. The art here is a bit outdated, so please look here (also linked below) for more examples, or visit my deviantart!! If you know anybody who used to play Flight Rising, as well, please direct them my way! Essentially, I'm asking if there are any inactive (or not-very-active) Flight Rising Users (yourself of friends you may know) who are interested in selling some of their (super old) dragons or Kick-Starter/Beta-Test items for Artwork and/or Animation! Yes, it's a weird request, I know.
